While looking for wild horses in the New Forest, I noticed the unmistakable musk of deer drifting through the woodland air. Knowing they had been there recently i started looking for tracks and spotted some left in the mud by a stream. Approaching from downwind, hidden by dense foliage I took this shot through the trees of a male walking elegantly past.
