Capuchin monkeys are among the most intelligent inhabitants of the Amazon. They are often unbothered by the presence of humans and move effortlessly through the canopy, making them very difficult to follow on the flooded jungle floor below where roots, fallen branches, and holes lie hidden beneath the water.
